Melt 1/2 cup butter in saucepan. Blend in 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
and 1/4 tsp salt Cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly Add
1/4 cup milk, continue until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat
Blend 2 1/2 cup sifted confectioners sugar Add 1/2 tsp vanilla.
