INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Chicken broth *
1 t Cornstarch
2 T Soy sauce
1 t Sugar
3 T Oil **
1/2 Onion, diced
1 lb Broccoli, cut into small
pieces ***

INSTRUCTIONS

(from More with Less Cookbook) Combine chicken broth, cornstarch, soy
sauce, and sugar and set aside. Heat oil in skillet/wok. Add onion.
Fry until golden. Add broccoli. Stir fry for three minutes. Add sauce
ingredients. Stir fry for 1 minute until sauce clears. I used the
golden broth recipe I posted earlier to make it vegetarian, but a
fat-free chicken broth would also be good ** Or use a small amount of
broth or other sauteing liquid, adding more as it evaporates *** I
like it with 1/2 broccoli and 1/2 cauliflower, cut in thin fan-shaped
slices. Posted to Digest eat-lf.v096.n225 Date: Fri, 22 Nov 1996
