Stir-Fried Broccoli And Water Chestnuts

INGREDIENTS

10 oz Bagged precut broccoli florets
1 tb Toasted sesame oil
1 8 oz can sliced water chestnuts; undrained
Tamari or soy sauce; to taste
Powdered ginger; to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

MAKES 6 SERVINGS VEGAN
Stir-fry broccoli in oil over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Add water
chestnuts and their liquid. Cover, reduce heat and steam until broccoli is
crisp-tender, 5 to 10 minutes. Season with tamari or soy sauce to taste and
ginger. Makes 6 servings.
PER 1/2 CUP SERVING: 39 CAL.; 1G PROT.; 2G TOTAL FAT (0.4G SAT. FAT); 4G
CARB.; 0 CHOL.; 14MG SOD.; 2G FIBER.
