Sugar-Plum Bacon

INGREDIENTS

1/2 lb Sliced bacon
1/2 c Packed brown sugar
1 ts Ground cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS

Let bacon come to room temperature.  Cut each slice in half lenthwise.
Combine sugar and cinnamon.  Coat each bacon slice with the brown-sugar
mixture.  Twist and place in a shallow baking pan.  Bake in a 350 degree
oven for 15-20 minutes or till bacon is crisp and sugar is bubbly. Watch
bacon closely as sugar burns easily. Place the cooked bacon slices on foil
to cool. Serve at room temperature. Makes 8 servings.
