INGREDIENTS

6 oz Coarse semolina powder
2 T Ghee
2 Green cardamom, crushed
1/2 pt Milk
2 oz White sugar, up to 3
Pistachio nuts, finely
chopped to
garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Dry fry semolina over medium heat until nearly brown. Add ghee and
cardamom pods and stir for 3-4 minutes. Lower the heat slightly and
add milk, bit by bit, stirring in continuously. Stir in sugar and
serve, garnish with pistachio.  The consistency of the halwa should be
