Swedish Mushroom Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1/2 lb Mushrooms, Sliced
4 tb Butter
4 tb All-Purpose Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts White Pepper
1 1/2 c Half and Half
1 1/2 tb Lemon Juice
1 1/2 tb Sherry,Dry

INSTRUCTIONS

Offer as a sauce or a side dish. Saute mushrooms in butter until limp. Stir
in flour, salt, and pepper. Add cream; cook, stirring constantly, until
thick and smooth. Stir in lemon juice and Sherry; salt to taste. Makes
about 2 1/2 cups sauce or 3 to 4 servings.
