Sweet And Sour Spareribs #1

INGREDIENTS

2 lb Spareribs
1 1/2 c Water
1 Ginger
2 T Flour
1 t Salt
1 Clove garlic, crushed
1 T Soy sauce
1 c Brown sugar
2/3 c Cider vinegar
3 T Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut ribs into 1-1/2" pieces.  Sprinkle with soy sauce and flour, mix
gently. Heat oil, then add garlic and ginger. Brown ribs; drain fat.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes.  From a book of my
