INGREDIENTS

1 bn Chard
1 Clove garlic
4 Slabs bacon or diced sausage
1 tb Butter or oil
Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

This is how we make it in Brazil
Shred chard as finely as possible. Melt butter in a frying pan. Add diced
bacon cook a few minutes, discard some of the fat. stir in minced garlic,
cook 2 minutes. Stir in chard, salt and pepper and cook over high heat
until all liquid has evaporated.
We serve it with black beans and rice or our most typical dish Feijoada (
made with black beans and salted pork.
