Swiss Steak with Pickled Onions

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c (3/4 cup) All purpose flour
1 ts (2 tsp) Salt
ds (1/4 tsp) Black pepper
1 1/2 lb (3 lbs) Round steak, 3/4" thick
3 tb (6 TBS) Fat
1 (2) 10 oz. bottles Pickled onions
3/4 c (1 1/2 cups) Pickled onion juice

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE:  ingredients listed are for 4 servings (4 Qt. cooker), those in
parenthesis () are for 8 servings (6 Qt cooker).
Combine flour, salt and pepper.
Cut steak into individual servings.  Pound as much of the dry
ingredients as possible into the steak.
Brown in hot fat in cooker.  Add onions and liquid. Cover, set control
and cook for 25 minutes after control jiggles.
Cool cooker normally for 5 minutes, then place under faucet.
