INGREDIENTS

1 1/3 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Shortening (up to)
4 tb Iced water

INSTRUCTIONS

Sift flour and salt into a bowl. Blend in shortening. Add water 1 Tbs at a
time until dough begins to hold together.  Gather into a ball and shape
into a flattened round on a floured board. Roll out and cut into circles
about 1" larger than tart pans. Place dough in pans, trim edges and prick
bottoms thoroughly. Bake at 475 degs F. for 8-10 mins. When cool remove
from pans and fill with your favourite fillings.
