INGREDIENTS

4 Turnips — peeled and
Quartered
4 Potatoes — peeled and
Quartered
2 tb Minced onions
1 ts Salt
Water
1/4 c Light cream
2 tb Soft butter
1/2 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

In slow-cooking pot, combine turnips, potatoes, onion and 1 tsp. salt.
Cover with water.  Cover pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until
vegetables are tender.  Drain well.  Mash; add cream, butter, 1/2 tsp. salt
and pepper.  Beat until fluffy.
