INGREDIENTS

2 T Butter or margarine
2 T Maple syrup
1 Apple, cored thinly
Sliced
1 Firm, ripe pear cored
Thinly sliced
1/3 c Raisins or currants
1/3 c Walnuts or pecans
Chopped
1 ds Ground cinnamon
1 ds Nutmeg
2 T Water
2 T Brandy

INSTRUCTIONS

Melt butter in a saute pan or large skillet. Stir in maple syrup and
adjust to taste. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat and
stir until fruits are tender.    Timesaver Tip: Ingredients can be
prepared ahead; rub apple and pear  slices with lemon juice to prevent
