Ingredients: 1 Thawed ham loaf; 1 c Crushed white crackers; 1/8 ts Pepper; 2 lg Eggs; 1/2 c Milk; 1 1/2 c Brown sugar; 1 ts Dry mustard; 1/2 c White vinegar; 1/2 c Water

A ministry mentor, John MacArthur, has said to me on numerous occasions that “when a man falls, he doesn’t fall far.” In other words, a serious breach of leadership integrity does not occur in a vacuum. Men who have, by the grace of God, forged a pattern of moral veracity are not suddenly seduced by a life of lies and hypocrisy. Betrayal of this sort slowly percolates out of the heart over time with a host of smaller, virtually undetected compromises. When an integrity scandal breaks, the fall of that leader is more like a short hop!

It is a serious reflection for the evangelist that wherever God's Spirit is at work, there Satan is sure to be busy. We must remember and ever be prepared for this. The enemy of Christ and the enemy of souls is always on the watch, always hovering about to see what he can do, either to hinder or corrupt the work of the gospel. This need not terrify or even discourage the workman; but it is well to bear it in mind and be watchful. Satan will leave no stone unturned to mar or hinder the blessed work of God's Spirit. He has proved himself the ceaseless, vigilant enemy of that work, from the days of Eden down to the present moment.

INGREDIENTS

1		Thawed ham loaf
1	c	Crushed white crackers
1/8	ts	Pepper
2	lg	Eggs
1/2	c	Milk
1 1/2	c	Brown sugar
1	ts	Dry mustard
1/2	c	White vinegar
1/2	c	Water

INSTRUCTIONS

SAUCE
Mix ham, crackers, eggs, pepper and milk thoroughly. Form into balls. Place
in 9 x 13 pan.
In saucepan, mix brown sugar, dry mustard, white vinegar, and water. Heat
together in a pan.  Pour over balls. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours,
uncovered. Add 1 can pineapple chucks before cooking, if desired.
