We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

God specializes in surprise endings

Our hopelessness and our helplessness are no barrier to (God’s) work. Indeed our utter incapacity is often the prop He delights to use for His next act… We are facing one of the principles of Yahweh’s modus operandi. When His people are without strength, without resources, without hope, without human gimmicks – then He loves to stretch forth His hand from heaven. Once we see where God often begins we will understand how we may be encouraged.

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Grains Dip 8 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 cn Chick peas: one drained; one with juice
1/2 c Tahini (sesame seed paste)
1/2 Lemon; fresh juice from
2 Cloves garlic
1 ds Cumin

INSTRUCTIONS

Here's the recipe I use. I think it originally came from the Frugal
Gourmet's first cookbook, but I've adapted it to my own tastes over the
years...
Blend everything together in a food processor or blender. Adjust
seasonings to taste (I often add more garlic and lemon, very rarely salt).
Serve with warm pita bread and veggies.
BTW: NEVER make it without the tahini. It just isn't the same!
