Mom’s Sloppy Joes

INGREDIENTS

2 lb Hamburger
1/4 c Lemon juice
2 tb Vinegar
1/2 c Water
1 c Ketchup
1/2 c Packed brown sugar
1/2 c Chopped onion
1 c Chopped celery
2 ts Prepared yellow mustard
2 ts Salt
1 tb Worcestershire sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

Brown hamburger, onion, and celery together until hamburger has lost all
pink. Drain well. Add all the other ingredients. Stir, and simmer for about
20    minutes.
Personal note: In a pinch, cut the sauce ingredients in half and use a can
of corned beef in place of the hamburger. A different flavor, but yummy.
