Pork Chops with Scalloped Potatoes

INGREDIENTS

4 Pork chops
1 tb Cooking oil
1 cn Condensed cream of celery soup
1 c Milk
3 Green onions; sliced
3 md Potatoes; peeled and sliced
4 sl American cheese
1/8 ts Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

"Stolen" from Better Homes and Gardens New Casserole Cookbook
In a large skillet, cook pork chops in hot oil till brown on both sides.
Remove chops from skillet. Drain fat from skillet. In skillet, combine
soup, milk, and onions. Cook till heated through. Remove from heat. In a
baking dish, arrange 1/2 of the potatoes. Top with cheese slices and then
add remaining potatoes on top of cheese. Place pork chops on top of
potatoes. Cover with foil. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/4 hours.
Remove foil. Bake about 30 minutes more, or till pork chops and potatoes
are tender.
