Pork Sausage Patties

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 lb Lean ground pork
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper
1/2 ts Allspice
1/4 ts Cloves
1/4 ts Ginger

INSTRUCTIONS

Put the pork into a mixing bowl. Add the salt, pepper, allspice, cloves,
and ginger. Stir well. Divide the mixture into 12 portions. Roll each
portion into a ball and flatten it to make a patty. Place a heavy 10-inch
skillet over medium heat for 1 minute. Arrange 6 sausage patties in the
skillet and cook until golden brown (about 3 to 4 minutes on each side).
Put the cooked patties on an ovenproof plate and cover them with foil. Put
the plate in a warm oven (200F). Remove any extra grease from the skillet.
Then cook the remaining 6 patties.
YIELD: 12 patties
