It is the brightest star that ever cast its radiance over the darkened soul, and one that seldom sets in the gloom of morbid fancies and forboding imaginations.

Sour Cream Green Bean Salad

INGREDIENTS

4 c Cold cooked beans
2 Green onions or 1 small onion
1 tb Sugar
1 tb Cider or white vinegar
1/2 c Dairy sour cream
Salt and pepper; to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Schnippel the beans by cutting them on the bias in very long, thin slices.
Place in a bowl and add onion.
Blend remaining ingredients, pour over beans and toss lightly.
NOTES : A superb dish pepared with fresh green or wax beans. To schnippel
the fresh beans takes a little longer, but it's worth the trouble.
