Sweet and Sour Spareribs #1

INGREDIENTS

2 lb Spareribs
1 1/2 c Water
1 sl Ginger
2 tb Flour
1 ts Salt
1 Clove garlic; crushed
1 tb Soy sauce
1 c Brown sugar
2/3 c Cider vinegar
3 tb Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut ribs into 1-1/2" pieces.  Sprinkle with soy sauce and flour, mix
gently. Heat oil, then add garlic and ginger. Brown ribs; drain fat. Add
remaining ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes.
