GUIDELINES FOR TEACHERS AND HELPERS AT <NAME OF YOUR CHURCH HERE> Requirements We require that they: 1. Be born-again Christians who profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. 2. Live lives that reflect Christian values. 3. Teach materials that are consistent with biblical precepts as expressed in the <NAME OF YOUR CHURCH DOCTRINE STATEMENT HERE> 4. Have a sense of calling to teach and manifest the gift of teaching. 5. Submit outlines of the classes to the coordinator if they are not using previously approved curricula. 6. Notify the coordinator if they are unable to meet their class and should find a substitute. Recommendations We recommend that they: 1. Be members of <NAME OF YOUR CHURCH HERE>. 2. Contact class members who are absent for an unusual amount of time. 3. Attend teacher-training workshops as they become available. 4. Work closely with the Coordinator so that needs, desires, and advice are well communicated and received. 5. Take a periodic break from teaching responsibilities as a means of renewal.
