Mormonism: Scientific Evidence

    Joseph Smith claims:

    • translated ‘Reformed Egyptian’ containing Egyptian, Chaldaic, Assyriac, and Arabic hieroglyphics
    • Martin Harris took translation to Professor Charles Anton, Columbia University, for validation
    • However, in Book of Mormon, it claims that it was written in the language of the Nephites, unknown by anyone. (How could it be validated?)
    • Professor Anton writes:
      • document contained no Egyptian letters
      • document contained scrambled and inverted Greek, Hebrew, and Roman letters
      • suspected Harris was being defrauded
    • Archeologist have never discovered any ‘Reformed Egyptian’ anywhere in the world.:
