We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Philosophy has always been the cause of the church going astray, for philosophy means, ultimately, a trusting to human reason and human understanding. The philosopher wants to encompass all truth; he wants to categorize and explain everything, and that is why…(philosophy is) diametrically opposed to the preaching of the gospel.
Martyn Lloyd-Jones

Freedom is not only the principle in the Christian life. Freedom is for something. God has set us free for holiness. He has set us free from the guilt and bondage of sin – but not in order that we might become enslaved to the very sins for which Christ died to redeem us!... No action which is contrary to the plain Word of God can ever be legitimate for the Christian. No appeal to spiritual freedom or to providential circumstances can ever make what is ethically wrong anything else but sinful. For the Christian is free only to love and obey the law of God. Therein lies his true freedom.

47:1 Zborovođi. Sinova Korahovih. Psalam.

47:2 Narodi svi, plješćite rukama, kličite Bogu glasom radosnim.

47:3 Jer Jahve je to – svevišnji, strašan, kralj velik nad zemljom svom.

47:4 Narode je nama podložio, pogane stavio pod noge naše,

47:5 baštinu nam odabrao – ponos Jakova, svoga ljubimca.

47:6 Uzlazi Bog uz klicanje, Jahve uza zvuke trublje.

47:7 Pjevajte Bogu, pjevajte, pjevajte kralju našemu, pjevajte!

47:8 Jer on je kralj nad zemljom svom, pjevajte Bogu, pjevači vrsni!

47:9 Bog kraljuje nad narodima, stoluje Bog na svetom prijestolju.

47:10 Prvaci se pribiru poganski k narodu Boga Abrahamova. Božji su svi vlastodršci zemlje, nad svima on je uzvišen.
